WebSharing lets you transfer files from your computer to your Android-powered phone or device. You can also use it to access and manage your device's media (photos, music, and videos) using your computer.
To use WebSharing, you must first turn it on. If your device is in range of your wireless network, just push the Start button. A notification icon will appear at the top of the screen to indicate that WebSharing has been activated.
Once WebSharing has started, you'll see a web address (a "URL") displayed on the screen. Enter this web address into your computer's web browser. Make sure you enter it exactly as it is displayed, including the http:// portion.
A welcome screen should appear asking you for your password. If you did not configure a password yourself, you'll see an automatically generated password on the screen of your device. Type your password into the web browser and press enter.
Once you've logged in, the main screen of WebSharing will appear in your web browser. You can use the tabs at the top of the screen, e.g., "Files", "Music", and "Photos" to switch between different activities.
There is a pull-down menu in the upper left that provides additional options for your current activity. For example, in the "Music" activity, you can select "Upload Music Tracks" to add new music to your device from your computer.
Note that in many places you'll need to double-click your mouse to open items. For example, in the "Files" tab, single-clicking an item will select it, while double-clicking it will open/download it.
When you're finished using WebSharing, you may turn it off by pressing the Stop button on the device. Note that you can always tell when WebSharing is running on your device as you will see its icon displayed in the "notification area" at the top of the screen.
